Krum Bobcats (Krum, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX), 43-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Krum upgrades its record to 22-9 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Springtown (Springtown, TX) to clash with the Porcupines in a 4A Region I District 8 bout on Saturday, February 4. The Porcupines go into the bout with a record of 12-21. Springtown lost 72-38 in their recent league bout against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Castleberry Lions (Fort Worth, TX) in a 4A Region I District 8 bout, on Saturday, February 4. Decatur will attempt to upgrade on its 22-11 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 8-19 record after their 67-20 league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX).
