Galena Hawks (Galena, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Delta Huskies (Delta Junction, AK), 58-52 in a league bout.
With the win, Galena upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Hawks host Ben Eielson (Eielson AFB, AK) to play the Ravens in a 3A Aurora bout on Thursday, February 16. The Ravens go into the bout with a record of 0-13.
Next up, the Huskies play the Wasilla Warriors (Wasilla, AK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Delta will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
