Texas High School Basketball - DeSoto overwhelms Lake Ridge

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the DeSoto Eagles (DeSoto, TX) and the visiting Lake Ridge Eagles (Mansfield, TX), saw DeSoto's basketball squad wallop Lake Ridge by a tally of 70-27.
With the victory, DeSoto improves its record to 21-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX) to play the Longhorns in a 6A Region II District 11 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 19-13. Cedar Hill won 40-38 in their recent league challenge against Skyline (Dallas, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the Skyline Raiders (Dallas, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Lake Ridge will attempt to improve on its 23-11 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 18-13 record after their 40-38 league loss to Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX).
