Texas High School Basketball - Pearsall knocked off by Devine

The Devine Warhorses basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Pearsall Mavericks to 39 in the Warhorses league triumph on Friday.
The Warhorses now sport a 16-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Floresville for a 4A Region IV District 29 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Devine will meet a Tigers team coming off a 46-42 league loss to Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 14-18.
The Mavericks (6-16) will now prepare for their contest against Somerset (Somerset, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Region IV District 29 contest with a 24-10 record. In their last contest, Somerset ran past Devine (Devine, TX), 69-41, in a league contest.
