The DeWitt Panthers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Grand Ledge Comets to 52 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Okemos for a Capital Area - Blue contest on Tuesday, February 7. DeWitt will battle a Wolves team coming off a 61-26 non-league win over Eastern (Lansing, MI). The Wolves record now stands at 2-13.
The Comets (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Holt (Holt, MI). The Rams come into the Capital Area - Blue contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Holt prevailed over Waverly (Lansing, MI), 54-40, in a league contest.
