Michigan High School Basketball - Divine Child thwarts Marian

The Divine Child Falcons (Dearborn, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Marian Mustangs (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 47-35 in Friday's league test.
The Falcons (13-4) will now prepare for their test against Mercy (Farmington Hills, MI). The Marlins go into the Catholic Central test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Mercy went down by Edison Academy (Detroit, MI), 44-42, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Detroit Country Day for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Marian will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 70-61 non-league loss to Westfield Prep (Redford, MI). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 9-5.
