Easton Area Rovers (Easton, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Nazareth Area Blue Eagles (Nazareth, PA), 45-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Easton Area upgrades its record to 21-0 on the season. The Rovers travel to Liberty (Bethlehem, PA) to clash with the Hurricanes in a Eastern Pennsylvania - Steel bout on Monday, February 6. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Liberty lost 52-50 in their recent league bout against Freedom (Bethlehem, PA)

Next up, the Blue Eagles clash with the Bethlehem Catholic Hawks (Bethlehem, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 6. Nazareth Area will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 13-7 record after their 46-41 non-league win over Louis E. Dieruff (Allentown, PA).
