Terrell Tigers (Terrell, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Ennis Lions (Ennis, TX), 66-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Terrell upgrades its record to 18-16 on the campaign. The Tigers host Corsicana (Corsicana, TX) to play the Tigers in a 5A Region II District 14 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 14-19. Corsicana lost 47-40 in their recent league bout against Lancaster (Lancaster, TX)

Next up, the Lions play the Crandall Pirates (Crandall, TX) in a 5A Region II District 14 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Ennis will attempt to upgrade on its 4-27 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 20-11 record after their 58-38 league loss to Red Oak (Red Oak, TX).
