In Friday's league outing, the Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL), by a count of 68-58.
The Wildkits (12-12) will now prepare for their outing against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Huskies go into the non-league outing with a 22-7 record. In their last outing, Hersey defeated Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL), 65-29, in a league outing.
The Trevians now hold a 16-12 record. They play next when they travel to Libertyville for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 4. New Trier will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 52-47 non-league win over Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 24-4.
