With the victory, Floydada upgrades its record to 17-11 on the campaign. The Whirlwinds host Olton (Olton, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 2A Region I District 4 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 13-16. Olton won 51-39 in their recent league bout against Lockney (Lockney, TX)

Next up, the Jackrabbits play the Smyer Bobcats (Smyer, TX) in a 2A Region I District 4 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Ralls will attempt to upgrade on its 6-20 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 6-25 record after their 68-32 league loss to Sudan (Sudan, TX).
