Louisiana High School Basketball - Franklin Parish fells Grant

Franklin Parish Patriots (Winnsboro, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA), 53-42 in a league bout.
With the win, Franklin Parish upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season.
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA) in a 4A District 2 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Grant will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Warhorses come into the challenge with a 15-7 record after their 36-34 league win over Neville (Monroe, LA).
