In Friday's league outing, the Freedom Irish (Freedom, WI) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Luxemburg-Casco Spartans (Luxemburg, WI), by a margin of 67-20.

The Irish (18-1) will now prepare for their outing against Brillion (Brillion, WI). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 16-3 record. In their last outing, Brillion smashed Roncalli (Manitowoc, WI), 69-48, in a league outing.

The Spartans now own a 10-11 record. They play next when they host Little Chute for a North Eastern outing on Tuesday, February 7. Luxemburg-Casco will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 46-36 league win over Waupaca (Waupaca, WI). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-13.
