In Friday's league outing, the Pleasant Spartans (Marion, OH) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Galion Tigers (Galion, OH), by a margin of 47-19.
The Spartans (15-4) will now prepare for their outing against Marion Harding (Marion, OH). The Presidents go into the Mid-Ohio outing with a 7-14 record. In their last outing, Marion Harding was trounced by Ontario (Mansfield, OH), 39-38, in a league outing.
The Tigers now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to River Valley for a Mid-Ohio outing on Tuesday, February 7. Galion will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 54-44 league win over Highland (Marengo, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 14-6.
