In Friday's league outing, the Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA), by a margin of 76-35.
The Wolves (19-3) will now prepare for their outing against Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Dragons go into the AAA Region 7 outing with a 18-5 record. In their last outing, Pickens smashed White County (Cleveland, GA), 56-44, in a league outing.
The Bobcats now own a 4-19 record. They play next when they travel to Southeast Whitfield County for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 4. Gilmer will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 54-21 league loss to Heritage (Ringgold, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-17.
