In Friday's league match, the visiting South Umpqua Lancers basketball team scored a tight 34-31 triumph over the Glide Wildcats.
In their next game, the Lancers meet the Coquille Red Devils (Coquille, OR) in a 3A Far West match, on Monday, February 6. South Umpqua will attempt to move on its 9-14 season record. The Red Devils enter the match with a 15-7 record after their 61-41 league loss to Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR).
With the defeat, Glide moves to 3-14 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Douglas (Winston, OR) to meet the Trojans in a 3A Far West match on Saturday, February 4. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 10-8. Douglas lost 48-46 in their recent league match against Cascade Christian (Medford, OR)
