The Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] Nordics (Newfolden, MN) basketball nipped the host Goodridge/Grygla Chargers (Goodridge, MN), 60-53 in Friday's league test.

The Nordics (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Kittson County North (Lancaster, MN). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record.

The Chargers now own a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Warroad for a non-league test on Monday, February 6. Goodridge/Grygla will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 63-40 non-league loss to Stephen-Argyle Central (Stephen, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 4-15.
