Georgia High School Basketball - Gordon Central ripped by Model

The Model Blue Devils basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Gordon Central Warriors to 9 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockmart for a AA Region 7 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Model will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 44-29 non-league win over Cedartown (Cedartown, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-17.
The Warriors (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against Copper Basin (Copperhill, TN). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 16-7 record. In their last contest, Copper Basin triumphed over Lookout Valley (Chattanooga, TN), 49-14, in a league contest.
