North Carolina High School Basketball - Grimsley can't hold off Ragsdale

The Ragsdale Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Grimsley Whirlies to 44 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 4-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest Guilford for a 4A Conference 55 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Ragsdale will battle a Vikings team coming off a 58-35 league loss to Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 16-6.

The Whirlies (3-17) will now prepare for their contest against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Cowboys come into the 4A Conference 55 contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Southwest Guilford edged Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 62-38, in a league contest.
