Nevada Blue Jays (Rosston, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hampton Bulldogs (Hampton, AR), 52-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Nevada upgrades its record to 8-11 on the season. The Blue Jays host Emerson (Emerson, AR) to play the Pirates in a 1A Region 8 bout on Saturday, February 4. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 7-5.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Hermitage Hermits (Hermitage, AR) in a 1A Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Hampton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
