Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Harding Academy Lions (Memphis, TN) and the visiting Northpoint Christian Trojans (Southaven, MS), saw Harding Academy's basketball squad overcome Northpoint Christian by a tally of 49-33.

With the victory, Harding Academy improves its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Lions travel to St. George's (Collierville, TN) to confront the Gryphons in a Division II-A West District 6 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Gryphons come into the challenge with a record of 3-9.

Next up, the Trojans confront the First Assembly Christian Crusaders (Cordova, TN) in a Division II-A West District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Northpoint Christian will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 16-4 record after their 59-44 league win over Evangelical Christian (Cordova, TN).
