The Perry-Lecompton Kaws basketball team (Perry, KS), was routed 46-24 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Hiawatha Red Hawks (Hiawatha, KS)
The Red Hawks now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 7. Hiawatha will battle a Cyclones team coming off a 58-36 non-league win over Jefferson West (Meriden, KS). The Cyclones record now stands at 14-2.
The Kaws (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Royal Valley (Hoyt, KS). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 2-13 record. In their last battle, Royal Valley was routed by Sabetha (Sabetha, KS), 53-45, in a non-league battle.
