Kansas High School Basketball - Nemaha Central tops Holton

Nemaha Central Thunder (Seneca, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Holton Wildcats (Holton, KS), 44-25 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Nemaha Central upgrades its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Thunder host Sabetha (Sabetha, KS) to play the Bluejays in a Big Seven bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Bluejays come into the bout with a record of 9-6. Sabetha won 53-45 in their recent non-league bout against Royal Valley (Hoyt, KS)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Jefferson West Tigers (Meriden, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Holton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 58-36 non-league loss to Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] (Wathena, KS).
