The Ooltewah Owls (Ooltewah, TN) basketball felled the visiting Howard Tech Hustlin' Tigers (Chattanooga, TN), 56-37 in Friday's league test.
The Owls (4-13) will now prepare for their test against Rhea County (Evensville, TN). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, Rhea County was beaten by Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN), 52-47, in a non-league test.
The Hustlin' Tigers now own a 6-16 record. They play next when they host Austin-East for a non-league test on Saturday, February 4. Howard Tech will encounter a Roadrunners squad coming off a 47-39 league win over South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN). The Roadrunners record now stands at 3-12.
