In Friday's league match, the visiting York Institute Dragons basketball team scored a decisive 79-30 triumph over the Jackson County Blue Devils.
In their next game, the Dragons meet the Cookeville Cavaliers (Cookeville, TN) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 6. York Institute will attempt to better on its 22-2 season record. The Cavaliers enter the match with a 22-3 record after their 70-29 league win over Mount Juliet (Mt. Juliet, TN).
With the defeat, Jackson County moves to 3-12 on the year. The Blue devils host Clay County (Celina, TN) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 7. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 11-2.
