Nevada High School Basketball - Needles edges Lincoln County

The Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) basketball nipped the host Lincoln County Lynx (Panaca, NV), 51-50 in Friday's league test.

The Mustangs (18-7) will now prepare for their test against White Pine (Ely, NV). The Bobcats go into the 2A Southern test with a 6-14 record. In their last test, White Pine got by Laughlin (Laughlin, NV), 59-30, in a league test.

The Lynx now own a 15-8 record. They play next when they travel to Democracy Prep Agassi Campus for a 2A Southern test on Saturday, February 4. Lincoln County will encounter a Blue Knights squad coming off a 60-33 league win over The Meadows School (Las Vegas, NV). The Blue Knights record now stands at 19-3.
