Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM) and the host Loving Falcons (Loving, NM), saw Tatum's basketball squad wallop Loving by a count of 66-25.
With the victory, Tatum upgrades its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Eunice (Eunice, NM) to play the Cardinals in a 2A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Eunice lost 46-33 in their recent non-league battle against Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM)
The Falcons (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Jal (Jal, NM). The Panthers come into the 2A District 4 battle with a 9-13 record. In their last battle, Jal was overwhelmed by Tatum (Tatum, NM), 70-27, in a league battle.
