Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Luella Lions (Luella, GA) and the host McDonough Warhawks (McDonough, GA), saw Luella's basketball squad wallop McDonough by a tally of 81-25.

With the victory, Luella improves its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Pace Academy (Atlanta, GA) to play the Knights in a AAAA Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 10-11. Pace Academy won 48-9 in their recent league challenge against Lovett (Atlanta, GA)

Next up, the Warhawks play the Woodland Wolfpack (Stockbridge, GA) in a AAAA Region 5 challenge, on Saturday, February 4. McDonough will attempt to improve on its 3-19 season record. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 80-4 league win over Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA).
