Texas High School Basketball - Montgomery winner over Magnolia

In Friday's league outing, the Montgomery Bears (Montgomery, TX) basketball squad felled the host Magnolia Bulldogs (Magnolia, TX), by a margin of 40-23.

The Bears (22-10) will now prepare for their outing against A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX). The Tigers go into the 5A Region III District 21 outing with a 18-15 record. In their last outing, A&M Consolidated thwarted Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX), 39-37, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-18 record. They play next when they travel to Magnolia West for a 5A Region III District 21 outing on Tuesday, February 7. Magnolia will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 52-49 league loss to Brenham (Brenham, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 18-17.
