The Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Manassas Park Cougars (Manassas Park, VA), 70-7 in Friday's league test.
The Mustangs (18-1) will now prepare for their test against Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA). The Tigers go into the Northwestern test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, Brentsville District walloped Warren County (Front Royal, VA), 79-37, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 0-15 record. They play next when they host Skyline for a Northwestern test on Tuesday, February 7. Manassas Park will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 53-51 league win over William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 7-13.
