Maranatha Christian Academy Mustangs (Brooklyn Park, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting New Life Academy Eagles (Woodbury, MN), 84-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Maranatha Christian Academy upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Visitation (Mendota Heights, MN) to play the Blazers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Blazers come into the bout with a record of 12-5. Visitation won 62-45 in their recent non-league bout against Richfield (Richfield, MN)

Next up, the Eagles play the Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons (Wabasha, MN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 6. New Life Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 0-20 record after their 63-37 league loss to Cotter (Winona, MN).
