The Meeker Cowboys basketball team (Meeker, CO), dropped 46-37 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Olathe Pirates (Olathe, CO)

The Pirates now possess a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand Valley for a 3A Western Slope battle on Tuesday, February 7. Olathe will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 46-22 league win over Gunnison (Gunnison, CO). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-3.

The Cowboys (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO). The Rams come into the 3A Western Slope battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Roaring Fork dropped by Cedaredge (Cedaredge, CO), 43-31, in a league battle.
