The Sacred Heart Knights basketball team (Salina, KS), was nudged 42-36 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Minneapolis Lions (Minneapolis, KS)

The Lions now possess a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ellsworth for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 7. Minneapolis will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 48-32 non-league loss to Southeast of Saline (Gypsum, KS). The Bearcats record now stands at 9-6.

The Knights (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Concordia (Concordia, KS). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, Concordia edged Clifton-Clyde (Clyde, KS), 46-45, in a non-league battle.
