Fans at Friday's league challenge between the West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) and the host Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC), saw West Cabarrus's basketball squad overcome Mooresville by a tally of 70-62.

With the victory, West Cabarrus improves its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Hough (Cornelius, NC) to play the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 12-10. Hough lost 76-34 in their recent league challenge against Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) in a 4A Conference 57 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Mooresville will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Wonders come into the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 56-42 league loss to South Iredell (Statesville, NC).
