The Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) basketball were winner over the visiting Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL), 59-46 in Friday's league contest.
The Redhawks now sport a 19-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Metea Valley for a DuPage Valley contest on Tuesday, February 7. Naperville Central will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 41-35 non-league win over Oswego (Oswego, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-21.
The Huskies (19-10) will now prepare for their contest against Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL). The Warriors enter the DuPage Valley contest with a 20-6 record. In their last contest, Waubonsie Valley ran past St. Francis (Wheaton, IL), 55-39, in a non-league contest.
