Wisconsin High School Basketball - Pius XI Catholic edges New Berlin West

The Pius XI Catholic Popes (Milwaukee, WI) basketball nipped the visiting New Berlin West Vikings (New Berlin, WI), 52-48 in Friday's league test.
The Popes (18-3) will now prepare for their test against Greendale (Greendale, WI). The Panthers go into the Woodland - West test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, Greendale got by West Allis Central (West Allis, WI), 77-67, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Wisconsin Lutheran for a Woodland - West test on Tuesday, February 7. New Berlin West will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 76-47 league loss to Pewaukee (Pewaukee, WI). The Vikings record now stands at 13-8.
