Georgia High School Basketball - New Manchester thwarts South Paulding

February 3, 2023: Douglasville, GA 30134

The New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA) basketball knocked off the host South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA), 48-39 in Friday's league test.

The Jaguar (18-5) will now prepare for their test against Paulding County (Dallas, GA). The Patriots go into the AAAAAA Region 5 test with a 14-9 record. In their last test, Paulding County notched a victory over Allatoona (Acworth, GA), 52-51, in a non-league test.

The Spartans now own a 8-16 record. They play next when they travel to Newnan for a AAAAAA Region 5 test on Tuesday, February 7. South Paulding will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 47-25 league loss to Paulding County (Dallas, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-21.
