Georgia High School Basketball - Newnan ripped by Paulding County

The Paulding County Patriots basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Newnan Cougars to 25 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Allatoona for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Paulding County will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 86-50 league loss to Woodstock (Woodstock, GA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 3-14.

The Cougars (0-21) will now prepare for their contest against South Paulding (Douglasville, GA). The Spartans enter the AAAAAA Region 5 contest with a 8-16 record. In their last contest, South Paulding was routed by New Manchester (Douglasville, GA), 48-39, in a league contest.
