Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY) and the visiting Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY), saw Pendleton County's basketball squad overcome Nicholas County by a tally of 51-37.

With the victory, Pendleton County improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Bracken County (Brooksville, KY) to confront the Polar Bears in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a record of 14-10. Bracken County won 51-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY)

Next up, the Bluejackets confront the Madison Central Indians (Richmond, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Nicholas County will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 16-4 record after their 61-29 non-league win over Bryan Station (Lexington, KY).
