Texas High School Basketball - West Texas can't hold off Sanford-Fritch

The Sanford-Fritch Eagles basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host West Texas Comanches to 40 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gruver for a 2A Region I District 1 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Sanford-Fritch will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 65-37 league win over Sunray (Sunray, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 17-0.
The Comanches (17-13) will now prepare for their contest against Booker (Booker, TX). The Kiowas come into the 2A Region I District 1 contest with a 6-21 record. In their last contest, Booker was nudged by Stratford (Stratford, TX), 77-9, in a league contest.
