In Friday's league outing, the Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA) basketball squad nipped the visiting William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA), by a margin of 53-51.
The Hawks (7-13) will now prepare for their outing against Manassas Park (Manassas Park, VA). The Cougars go into the Northwestern outing with a 0-15 record. In their last outing, Manassas Park was tipped by Meridian (Falls Church, VA), 70-7, in a league outing.
The Dragons now own a 13-6 record. They play next when they host Warren County for a Northwestern outing on Tuesday, February 7. William Monroe will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 79-37 league loss to Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-17.
