The Snyder Tigers topped the visiting Sweetwater Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 53-38 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 game, on Tuesday, February 7. Snyder will attempt to move on its 16-16 season record. The Matadors enter the game with a 20-11 record after their 58-51 league loss to Levelland (Levelland, TX).
With the defeat, Sweetwater moves to 13-19 on the year. The Mustangs host Big Spring (Big Spring, TX) to face the Steers in a 4A Region I District 5 game on Tuesday, February 7. The Steers enter the game with a record of 9-19. Big Spring won 48-24 in their recent league game against Lake View (San Angelo, TX)
