West Feliciana Saints (St. Francisville, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host St. Michael Warriors (Baton Rouge, LA), 53-43 in a league bout.

With the win, West Feliciana upgrades its record to 21-5 on the season. The Saints travel to White Castle (White Castle, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-8. White Castle won 48-35 in their recent league bout against St. John (Plaquemine, LA)

Next up, the Warriors play the McKinley Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a 4A District 6 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. St. Michael will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-17 record after their 49-43 league loss to Istrouma (Baton Rouge, LA).
