North Carolina High School Basketball - West Caldwell topped by West Lincoln

The West Lincoln Rebels basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host West Caldwell Warriors to 41 in the Rebels league victory on Friday.

The Rebels now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Burke for a 2A Conference 45 contest on Tuesday, February 7. West Lincoln will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 65-15 league win over Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 19-1.

The Warriors (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Trojans come into the 2A Conference 45 contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, Bandys was defeated by Newton-Conover (Newton, NC), 62-20, in a league contest.
