Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA), 41-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Floyd County upgrades its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Glass (Lynchburg, VA) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Hilltoppers come into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Carroll County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
