Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV) and the visiting Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV), saw Douglas's basketball squad knock off Spanish Springs by a count of 42-31.

With the victory, Douglas upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Galena (Reno, NV) to play the Grizzlies in a challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 16-7. Galena lost 41-22 in their recent league challenge against Reno (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Cougars play the Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV) in a challenge, on Friday, February 10. Spanish Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record.
