The Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) basketball crushed the host Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA), 57-27 in Friday's non-league test.
The Green Hornets (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Riverheads (Staunton, VA). The Gladiators go into the non-league test with a 2-13 record. In their last test, Riverheads was trounced by Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA), 31-10, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Waynesboro for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Fort Defiance will encounter a Little Giants squad coming off a 28-22 non-league win over Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Little Giants record now stands at 7-8.
