Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA), 63-4 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Salem upgrades its record to 20-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Pulaski County (Dublin, VA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 19-2. Pulaski County won 55-20 in their recent non-league bout against Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 6. Glenvar will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 11-11 record after their 44-16 non-league loss to William Byrd (Vinton, VA).
