North Carolina High School Basketball - Hibriten ripped by Watauga

The Watauga Pioneers basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Hibriten Panthers to 26 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pioneers now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freedom for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Watauga will meet a Patriots team coming off a 25-12 non-league loss to Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 9-8.
The Panthers (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 16-0 record. In their last contest, Alexander Central triumphed over South Caldwell (Hudson, NC), 50-14, in a non-league contest.
