Red Hook Raiders (Red Hook, NY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Rondout Valley Ganders (Accord, NY), 16-10 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Red Hook upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Marlboro Central (Marlboro, NY) to play the Dukes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Dukes come into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Ganders play the New Paltz Huguenots (New Paltz, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Rondout Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Huguenots come into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 55-38 non-league win over Goshen Central (Goshen, NY).
