Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Copperas Cove Bulldawgs (Copperas Cove, TX), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers confront the Temple Wildcats (Temple, TX) in a 6A Region 2 District 12 challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Midway will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 1-1 league Hutto (Hutto, TX).

The Bulldawgs now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Hutto for a 6A Region 2 District 12 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. Copperas Cove will confront a Hippos team coming off a 3-0 league win over Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX). The Hippos record now stands at 3-4.
